Men, Women, Mixed & Open

If you are looking for a way to blow off steam after work then we have a competition to suit you.

Boys, Girls, Open

Kids can play in junior competition from tiny tots to 19 years of age.


  • Saturday 8:30am - 12:30 pm

Teams are all boys.  They play with 4 members in each team and matches are a singles /doubles format.


  • Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm

Teams are all girls.  They play with 4 members in each team and matches are a singles/doubles format.


  • Friday 6:00-pm - 8:30pm

  • Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm

Teams can be a combination of boys and girls. 


Social In-House


  • Monday 7:30pm

Monday night is where it all happens if you're wanting to get back into tennis after a long break or if serious competition is not your cup of tea you can enjoy a reasonably competitive 3 sets of mixed doubles in a friendly atmosphere.   


Adults or Juniors are welcome to join in the fun.

Teams take it in turn to provide supper and clean up, so players can stay for supper, or call it an early night and go home once the match is finished.

We have a competition to suit every member.  Whether you are a junior or senior, want to play for fun or serious competition, there is a team to suit everyone.  Put together your own team or get in touch with us and we will allocate you to a team that suits your level.



Warrandyte Tennis Club is associated with many different leagues all of which run competitions of varying types and standards.


Lilydale & District Night Tennis Association

Tuesday night Mens

Four in a team and each person plays three sets, therefore you partner each team member once. 

Wednesday night Mixed

Two women and two men per team. You play one set with the same sex in your team and then play with the two members of the opposite sex. 

Thursday night Mens 

Four in a team and each person plays three sets, therefore you partner each team member once. 

Thursday night Open Singles/Doubles

Two in a team, each person plays 3 sets.  1 is a doubles set, the other 2 are singles.

Eastern Regional Tennis


2 formats are offered on a Saturday afternoon between 1:00 pm and 5:00pm (times vary depending on results). Both formats are open to males and females accommodating players from intermediate to advanced levels. At the end of play, teams can relax while the home team provides afternoon tea.

  • Open Singles Doubles Format - This is played with 2 teams of 4, each player plays a singles match which is a best of three sets with a twist (instead of playing a third set the match is decided with a tiebreaker played to 10) as well as a single standard set of doubles.

  • Open Sets Format - This is played with 2 teams of 4, each player will play 3 sets of doubles (instead of playing to 6, sets are played to 8), each player gets to play a single set with each of their teammates.

Saturday mornings the club is buzzing with Juniors competition from 8:30am through to midday.  Boys, Girls or Open: we have a comp to suit everyone.

Diamond Valley Tennis Association


Friday nights are alive with the Junior Open teams competing in the Diamond Valley league.  The format sees each team member play 2 sets.

Mid-week ladies has historically been an institution at WTC.  3 sets are played to 8 games each with morning tea and/or lunch thrown in.  The hosting team provides the food.
